The last few months I have been working, amongst other things, on a suite of 10 drypoints with a woodcut frontispiece. These are my Life As Theatre suite. I am very proud of them. Each plate is 75 by 45cm and highly detailed. These are the proofs, I’ve re drawn each of the plates and they are not printed perfectly, just enough to give me an impression of them and to let me know where to take them! This is a sneak preview of three of them.
I am exhibiting large scale woodcuts and lithographs I made at the Curwen studio with lithos by the late, great Josef Herman at the Taliesin Arts Centre, Swansea. Check it out if you have the chance!
Busy this month. Showing at the Tactile BOSCH final show opening on the 27th followed by ‘Drawing The Line’ an exhibition of master prints at the Norwegian Church in Cardiff, Picasso, Henry Moore, Sutherland, Frink, I am the odd one out! That opens on the November the 5th.
Then the Elysium 5th Birthday show in Swansea which opens on the 9th! Tired.
